Praying for the Muslim World

July 19th marks the beginning of Ramadan in the United States.  This significant practice of Islam serves as a time of reflection in which adherents refrain from eating and drinking during daylight hours.  This pillar of the Muslim religion lasts for a month and is practiced by an estimated 1 billion Muslims worldwide.

On July 19th (the beginning of Ramadan) and August 20th (the end of Ramadan), we will come to together to learn more about this religious practice and to commit to a time of prayer and fasting for the Muslim world during Ramadan.

These two opportunities for information and prayer will start at 7pm (on July 19th and August 20th) in the reception room.
